Step 1: Open the document tool
- On the editing templates window, click on the "Document" link under "Attachments" on the left.
- Don't know how to get to the editing templates window? Click here for directions.

- The following window will appear:

- If no documents are already attached to the section, a statement "There are currently no Documents attached to this data item." will appear instead of the list of documents.
- You can remove any existing documents by clicking on the delete (del) button.
- To add the new document, click on the "add new" button.
Step 2: Upload the document to the CMS
- Enter the address of where the document you want to add is stored
- Or click on the browse button on the right to search for it.
- When located, click "open".
- Click on the Upload button to upload the document into the Content Management System.
Step 3: Enter Title and Description of document
- In the next window, the Title window will have the name of the uploaded document entered.
- You may leave as is, or change to a title of your choice.
- The title will be displayed as a link on the website.
- Enter a short description of the document in the Description window.
- This description will be displayed to the right of the title on the website.

Step 4: View formatting changes

Click on the blue "preview" button in the upper right of the screen.

Review your work

Return to the editing page by clicking "Return from Edit Mode" at the top of the page (above the banner). Do NOT use your back button on your browser to return or you will lose your work.
Step 5: Apply changes
Step 6: (Optional) Sort documents

If you have more than one document, sort them using the sort triangles to the right of each related document name.

Click the "apply" button again to leave window.
Step 7: View changes
